In the photogram series Fotoligaturen I focused on the transitory objects that can be transformed and shaped with light and explored ways to design configurations and create systems with their very own logic. All of those light objects were somehow there and left their traces but on the other hand, as a picture, lack aspects of other photographs. There is nothing fragmentary and they seem somehow solitary and completed. There is no image edge that makes you think about what is beyond the edge. They are photographs of something that was only created for the picture and that lasted only as long as it took to expose the photosensitive paper. The gallery on this website shows a small selection of photograms from the series.
